Brande Victorian is a freelance writer and producer known for authentic storytelling and viral, human-centered celebrity interviews.
As the head of Entertainment at ESSENCE magazine, Brande oversaw all content related to TV, film, books, music, podcast, sports, and media across print and digital, and booked all talent for magazine shoots and marquee events like Black Women In Hollywood while covering red carpets for the Oscars, Grammys, Emmys, Golden Globe, and SAG Awards.
During her tenure at MadameNoire, Brande led the entertainment lifestyle site to become the no.1 site for African Americans and spearheaded the transition of HelloBeautiful into a beauty platform as Content Director of the Women's Division at iOne Digitial.
Before entering the digital lifestyle and entertainment arena, she worked in medical publishing at Wolters Kluwer Health and was the first woman and first African-American Editor-in-Chief of The Hearing Journal (est. 1947). She was also honored by the American Society of Healthcare Publication Editors for her reporting.
