Brande Victorian is a trusted editorial leader in the world of entertainment with more than 15 years of experience leading digital platforms to cultural and commercial success. She is personally known for developing dynamic content experiences and connecting with vast audiences through signature storytelling as a writer, editor, producer, and on-camera correspondent.

As Deputy Awards Editor at The Hollywood Reporter, Brande helps oversee the magazine's best-in-class Emmy and Oscar coverage, bringing campaign stories to life through engaging print specials, red carpet and video interviews, and FYC panel moderation.

 

While the head of Entertainment at ESSENCE magazine, Brande oversaw all content related to TV, film, books, music, podcasts, sports, and media across print and digital, and booked all talent for magazine shoots and marquee events like Black Women In Hollywood while covering red carpets for the Oscars, Grammys, Emmys, Golden Globe, and SAG Awards.

During her tenure at MadameNoire, Brande led the entertainment lifestyle site to become the no.1 site for African Americans and spearheaded the transition of HelloBeautiful into a beauty platform with the launch of digital magazine issues as Content Director of the Women's Division at iOne Digitial.

Before entering the lifestyle and entertainment industry, Brande worked in medical publishing at Wolters Kluwer Health and was the first woman and first African-American Editor-in-Chief of The Hearing Journal (est. 1947). She was also honored by the American Society of Healthcare Publication Editors for her reporting.
